* Flash Flood Watch for portions of northern Virginia and the extreme eastern Panhandle of West Virginia... including the following areas... in Virginia... Clarke... Loudoun... northern Fauquier... Prince William/Manassas/Manassas Park and southern Fauquier. In northeast West Virginia... Jefferson.
* Until 6 am EDT Wednesday
* showers and thunderstorms will move into the extreme eastern Panhandle of West Virginia and northern Virginia late this evening and overnight. Locally heavy downpours will be possible over the same locations that received heavy rainfall on Monday night. Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.
You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action should flash flood warnings be issued.
